From South- Tirol to the Lake Garda. It is delightful to see the Mediterranean way of life gradually grow from the tart-fresh tyrolean mountain village. A short, pleasant bike ride – surrounded by mountains and beautiful landscapes, past historic villages to Lake Garda.
TOUR PROFILE: A simple tour, mostly flat or slightly downhill.
The route was chosen to be mainly on cycle paths.
Individual arrival in Schlanders in the Vinschgau in South Tyrol or Naturns. You will receive the travel documents and rental bikes (if booked). Unguarded parking lots near Hotel for free or parking lot at the Hotel (surcharge payable on spot; no reservation possible).
Past cultivated orchards to Meran and on to the Etsch-Eisack estuary near Sigmundskron Castle to Bozen/Bolzano.
Always cycling along the Adige, you will reach the Salurner Klause, San Michele all'Adige. Cycle paths take you directly to the centre of the old Council city of Trento.
Along the Adige river you cycle through picturesque vineyards to Rovereto and Mori. Finally - slightly uphill - you reach San Giovanni and then Lake Garda at Torbole and Arco/Riva.

You will stay in good middle-class hotels in the
3*** or 4**** category. All rooms have private bathroom and telephone. Tourist tax has to be paid on spot - approx. € 3,50 per person / night.
Return transfer from Arco / Riva to Schlanders:

October: Only on Saturday and Sunday
From central meeting points directly to Schlanders - € 68,- per person
Your own bikes can be transported for a fee of € 42,- per bike (normal bike like trekking or touring bike) or € 48,- per E-Bike. both without transport insurance – This service has to be booked toghether with the reservation of the trip!
Important notice:
If you bring your own bikes it is at your own risk! No liability can be accepted for damage to your own bike during the entire cycle tour and during transfers!
