SunBike Tour: Salzkammergut De luxe Mondsee

Bike tour: Princely travel from Castle to Castle - Variant Mondsee

This Variant starts in Mondsee instead of Salzburg. Experience the Salzkammergut in its original form - out of the way of alpine kitsch - and enjoy a healthy as well as a luxurious and authentic holiday, which does justice to its meaning. In the course of this trip you will be accommodated in originally-styled castles and historical hotels or manor house hotels, decorated with great attention to detail, whose staff will hold the individual arangement of your holiday and especially your culinary stroll through the highlights of the Salzkammergut close to their hearts. Allow yourself to be tempted by the flair of these traditional hotels, steeped in history and legends and dive into a world in which philosophers dream up their thoughts, artist create their masterpieces and princes manage their estates. On this trip, exceptionally, the path is not the only destination ...

Mondsee is a town in Upper Austria, located near highway and is very popular with vacationers and day visitors. An ideal starting point for your bike tour to not have to start the trip in a big city like Salzburg. In the center of Mondsee the Basilica of St. Michael with its two towers, located next to the Mondsee Castle, the Almeida Park, the lake promenade with possibilities to take a boat trip await you. On your further journey you will pass some interesting town with your bike: Gmunden with the famous lakeside castle Ort, the imperial city of Bad Ischl und Hallstatt with the oldest salt mine in the world and of course the Mozart-City of Salzburg. A bike tour directly from the organizer!!
