Adige Cycle Tour- classic tour

From South- Tirol to Verona! It is delightful to see the Mediterranean way of life gradually grow from the tart-fresh tyrolean mountain village. A pleasant bike ride – surrounded by mountains and beautiful landscapes, past historic villages to Verona.

TOUR PROFILE: A simple tour, mostly flat or slightly downhill. The route was chosen to be mainly on cycle paths. 

Individual arrival in Nauders. You will receive the travel documents and rental bikes (if booked). An unguarded private parking lot near the hotel is included.

With a slight ascent to the Reschensee. Along the picturesque lake to the Marienkron monastery; gently descending to Laatsch, Glurns and the beautiful holiday resort of Schlanders.

Past Meran and Nals, to the confluence of the Adige and Eisack rivers and along beautiful cycle paths to the town of arcades. Overnight stay in a 3 ☼☼☼ - or 4 ☼☼☼☼ hotel on the outskirts 
of town. 

Always  cycling  along  the  Adige  river  even  to  Neumarkt-Auer  and  to  the  the  Salurner 
Klause.  Further  to  San  Michele  all’Adige  and  centre  of  the  old  council  town  Trient 
(Cathedral,  castle,  Neptune  fountain,  picturesque  townscape,  numerous  shopping opportunities, town hall, Roman finds, etc.). Overnight stay in a 3 ☼☼☼ - or 4 ☼☼☼☼ hotel. 

Always stay on the Adige cycle path and cycle through picturesque vineyards to Rovereto (enchanting centre, monuments), you arrive in the lonely town of Mori, then Lopi and finally slightly uphill to San Giovanni; continue via Torbole and along Lake Garda very beautifully to Riva/Arco.

Short bus transfer to San Giovanni (3 km), from where you continue the cycle tour on a flat to slightly downhill stretch of the Adige cycle path to Belluno-Veronese; after a short climb you reach Rivoli Veronese and on a stretch of side road directly to the hotel in Cavaion 
Veronese or Affi.  Overnight stay in a 3 ☼☼☼ hotel. 

Approx.  2.5  km  on  a  side  road  to  the  Canale  Cammuzoni/Biffis.  Along  this  former 
irrigation system for the fortresses of Verona and Mantua, you cycle along the cycle 
path away from car traffic with very beautiful views over the Adige to the 1 st  cyclist 
observation  tower  and  on  to Bussolengo. After  approx.  1.5  km continue along  this 
waterway to the centre of Verona. Overnight stay in a 4 ☼☼☼☼ hotel. 

Return transfer to Nauders or additional nights in Verona.

You will stay in good middle-class hotels in the 3*** category. From Trento onwards all rooms also have air- conditioning. Location: quiet, mostly with own restaurant. All rooms have private shower/WC, telephone. Tourist tax has to be paid on spot.

Return transfer from Verona to Nauders:

By bus: 

May and August: Every Friday, Saturday, (full season) 
Per bus: every Friday and Saturday (full season) from Verona (Boarding of bus near the 
hotel) to Nauders (exit at the Donau Touristik parking space/cable car station). 

Return transfer of customers own bikes for additional charge  
cannot be held liable for any damage, etc., to own bicycles during the entire cycling tour or during transport (exclusion of liability). 
Must be booked in advance. No purchase possible on-site!! Charged to travel agency (gross = net).  Only in combination with return passenger transfers (train/bus) booked through us and subject to availability (limited places). 
Procedure for bus return: the bikes are transported as part of the bus journey to Nauders (= customer and bike must be transferred together).

Customers own bikes (insured value up to max. € 1.500,-) with a rim width of more than  5 cm can only be taken on request. If the customer's own bike is not registered in advance, return transport may not be possible. 

Return transfer by bus from Verona to Nauders - per person € 69,-. Own bikes can be transported for a fee of:

€ 38,-/ normal bike (WITHOUT transport insurance)'
€ 38,-/ E-Bike (WITHOUT transport insurance)

This service has to be booked together with the reservation of the trip!

Important notice: If you bring your own bikes it is at your own risk! No liability can be accepted for damage to your own bike during the entire cycle tour and during transfers!
